A selection of visitor attractions around Crieff & a bit further afield.
Walking
Crieff and the surrounding area is ideal for walkers of all abilities. Walkers can choose from challenging munros (Ben Vorlich, Ben Lawers, etc) to picturesque low-level walks - the possibilities are endless! For those who have been infected with the munro bug, there are perhaps 70 munros within an hour’s drive. Many walks like Lady Mary’s Walk, the lover’s walk and the Knock walk can be accessed directly from the self catering accommodation in Crieff or done with public transport, which also enables you to do A to B walks.
In our self catering flat there are local OS maps and walk descriptions. We are enthusiastic walkers ourselves and are very happy to share our local knowledge and point you in the right direction.
Golf
Golfers will find a wide variety of courses within 30 minutes drive ranging from Crieff’s own two courses to small, rural gems set in spectacular scenery. The world-famous courses at Gleneagles (15 min.) and St.Andrews (1 hour) are also easily accessible.
Old St. Michaels self catering provides one set of golf clubs and beginners can take lessons with the golf pros at both Golf Courses in Crieff.
