It is with a tinge of sadness that we leave “Old St. Michaels.” We have had a comfortable, quiet and enjoyable stay. It is a wonderful property, Crieff is a fine town and ideally located for exploration farther afield.
It we do not return ourselves, I’m sure those will that we recommend the place to.

We had a wonderful time in Scotland - loved Old St. Michaels. Toured daily and really enjoyed the countryside. Loved St. Andrews and Stirling. Christine made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed respberries and apples from your beautiful garden.

Despite the grandeur, however, the manse was very comfortable and your lovely garden was a pleasure to view every morning. We really enjoyed Old St. Michaels and Crieff. The flat was much bigger than we expected and beautiful. Victorian, high ceilings...
It rained a lot but the sun shone too, especially today when we went to Stirling, its castle and the Wallace Monument! We have been out and about every day, but still we are going away relaxed.We recommend exploring the local area (Stirling, Perth, Loch Lomond, Crieff obviously)- not just the major cities!

We hope to be back one day after we’ve seen the rest of the world.

Thanks for the great stay. The flat made us not miss home as much. Very comfortable and convenient to all the places we wanted to see. My kids enjoyed playing with your children when time allowed. Nice and roomy, you should be proud of your refurbishment. Loved the ceilings and space.

We enjoyed our first vistit to Scotland. The flat, weather and sights exceeded our expectations. We visited castles, gardens and the country. Loved the ruins of Dunnotar and Stirling Castle. The weather was beautiful. It rained one day out of 8.
We absolutely loved coming home to this beautiful mansion. You were all so hospitable when we arrived. We will definetely recommend this home and hope to return.

We had a lovely week visiting castles, gardens and shops. Walking in the Highlands and golfing at St. Andrews were a treat! The beach is lovely too!

We were looking for a place that would be a ‘home away from home’, convenient for trips to East & West coasts. This filled the bill!
We were lucky with the weather so it all came together to give us a grand vacation if all too brief.

A most enjoyable, relaxing stay. Lovely accommodation, felt very much at home. Even staying in having an easy day was relaxing and the children enjoyed the Scrabble and jigsaws, even though we have both at home! Thank you for making us feel so at home!

We have had an excellent stay at Old St. Michaels. Ideally located for the local Crieff restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed the Red Onion Bistro (twice) and Abbi’s Indian restaurant - watch out for the gigantic naan bread ‘yum’.
The boys enjoyed rounds of golf at both Crieff and Auchterarder, (Crieff won) whilst the girls did some serious pampering at Gleneagles.
Old St. Michael’s is well equipped - we had a fab barbecue with lots of super local produce - great butchers and deli in Auchterarder.
The flat gave us lots of space - a real home from home. It was great to have a DVD and good selection of movies for some nights in.
Drummond Gardens is not to be missed. Old St. Michael’s made a great base for trips to Edinburgh and over to St. Andrews.

After travelling halfway around the world from Western Australia, to be met in a friendly manner with warm smiles, made the journey worth while.
The accommodation is of a very high standard, tastefully furnished, comfortable, warm, and thoughtfully provided for all needs.
