A wonderful week in your excellent garden flat. The historical architecture was fantastic. I would have loved to have known the history of Old St. Michaels and plan to look it up on the internet on our return home. The weather was kind and we did some wonderful walking in Aberfeldy, Dunkeld and surrounding area. Over the last 20 years we have stayed all over Scotland but we can honestly say that we have never stayed in a more beautiful property than yours. All the best for the future - we may see you again some day.

Thank you for your warm hospitality and consideration right from our initial contact to departure. We along with our guests and friends were delighted and charmed with Old St. Michaels. The accommodation is spacious, yet warm and comfortable and the library of books and audio visual material have been a lovely bonus. It is with happy memories we depart and will highly recommend your beautiful flat to others.

We had a wonderful two week stay in Old St. Michaels. It was fantastic to stay in such a well-maintained flat that has so much character and charm which took us back in time. And the extra space was very welcome too! We certainly enjoyed our Christmas, New Year and the wedding in Crieff and it was a great base to explore the Highlands. Thank you again and all the best!

We enjoyed our stay here so very much. It’s a beautiful house, as well as a comfortable one. You’ve provided every possible dish, pan and utensil that anyone might need for cooking. We took pleasure in your garden as well - so many lovely flowers and neat vegetable plots in the geometric design. We loved the singing of birds in the shrubbery, and even the visits of neighborhood cats. Lewis was fun, Annette most helpful and we wish we could have met the remaining members of your family. This was our first visit to Scotland and our stay at Old St. Michaels put a wonderful face on Scotland for us.

Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay at your magnificent house. We truly were in awe of the beautiful surroundings. Despite the grandeur, however, the manse was very comfortable and your lovely garden was a pleasure to view every morning. Our children looked forward to coming “home” to the manse after a long day of travel! We all enjoyed touring in Scotland; it is a beautiful country. Thanks again for your hospitality and kindness.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful house with us. The weather was as welcoming as you. We very much enjoyed Scotland. There is not enough time in a lifetime to see all the beauty in the world but we now have wonderful memories of this tiny country Scotland - so beautiful. Make time to see our land. You won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed Old St. Michaels and Crieff. The flat was much bigger than we expected and beautiful. Victorian, high ceilings... It rained a lot but the sun shone too, especially today when we went to Stirling, its castle and the Wallace Monument! We have been out and about every day, but still we are going away relaxed. We recommend exploring the local area (Stirling, Perth, Loch Lomond, Crieff obviously)- not just the major cities!
We hope to be back one day after we’ve seen the rest of the world.

Thanks for the great stay. The flat made us not miss home as much. Very comfortable and convenient to all the places we wanted to see. My kids enjoyed playing with your children when time allowed. Nice and roomy, you should be proud of your refurbishment. Loved the ceilings and space.

We were looking for a place that would be a ‘home away from home’, convenient for trips to East & West coasts. This filled the bill! We were lucky with the weather so it all came together to give us a grand vacation if all too brief. Facilities, equipment etc. were all first class.
Many thanks Alistair et al from Canada June 2006

Lovely flat and area - we have had a really lovely break. The children loved playing hide and seek in the flat. You are to be congratualated on the accommodation, everything one could want was here, and everything was so clean and smelled to so fresh. Many thanks and we will be back again in the future.

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. We found the flat very well equipped with everything we needed. It was great to have so much information to hand. We didn’t enjoy the rain, but when the sun shone the scenery was wonderful.

A pleasant house, well appointed. It has the feeling of a happy home as soon as you walk in the door. Thanks for the Yorkshire Pudding recipe Annette- you saved my bacon.... or roast beef . Thank you, Chris & Rowena September 05

Thank you for your kind hospitality. The house was above our highest expectations: the wine tasted better in the high quality glasses you have provided, the food - as well. The bedding, the furniture - all in such good taste... We will recommend you further

We have had an excellent stay at Old St. Michaels. Ideally located for the local Crieff restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed the Red Onion Bistro (twice) and Abbi’s Indian restaurant - watch out for the gigantic naan bread ‘yum’. The boys enjoyed rounds of golf at both Crieff and Auchterarder, (Crieff won) whilst the girls did some serious pampering at Gleneagles. Old St. Michael’s is well equipped - we had a fab barbecue with lots of super local produce - great butchers and deli in Auchterarder. The flat gave us lots of space - a real home from home. It was great to have a DVD and good selection of movies for some nights in. Drummond Gardens is not to be missed. Old St. Michael’s made a great base for trips to Edinburgh and over to St. Andrews. Thanks Annette we have had a fabulous week.
